Man of Steel ~ UK TV Spot



Here is a new UK television spot. Or as they say across the pond this is now showing on the tele.. Take note of Hans Zimmer's majestic score for this film. Zimmer is the composer of such familiar soundtracks as  "Black Hawk Down," "The Last Samurai," "King Arthur," "Gladiator," "Inception," and the score for the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise. 


Tarsem Singh's "Theseus" is reborn as British actor Henry Cavill takes on the American superhero icon Superman in Zack Snyder's new film. I am genuinely looking forward to this film for several reasons. As a fan of the comic book Superman and of Christopher Reeves version of the character, I have the hope that in spite of Snyder's "Sucker Punch" fiasco, and Tarsem Singh's dark moody and absurd "Immortals" that Cavill can this off so that a new generation of can revel in the symbol that is "The Man of Steel."

Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" promises a new take on an old hero.  With a script by David S. Goyer, whose recent credits include Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy, actor Michael Shannon discusses how he approached the character of General Zod.

 Look for the "Man of Steel" in theaters on June 14th in the US
