Guardians of the Galaxy ~ The 12% Plan

August 1, 2014 is approaching fast, and Marvel is flooding radio, television and social media outlets with Guardians of the Galaxy trailers and posters. A few days ago, Marvel released a new trailer featuring our heros discussing how they plan on saving the galaxy.  Peter claims to have part of a plan.  Perhaps only 12% of a plan?

The Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Prat ("Parks and Recreation") as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana  ("Star Trek Into Darkness," "Avatar") as Gamora, and WWE's Dave Bautista ("House of the Rising Sun") as Drax the Destroyer.  The computer generated characters Rocket Raccoon and Groot feature the voices of Bradley Cooper ("Limitless," "American Hustle") and  "XXX" and "Riddick" star Vin Diesel respectively..


Synopsis:
"Brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits -- Rocket, a gun--toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand--with the galaxy's fate in the balance."

Marvel studios presidentKevin Feige, is producing while James Gunn ("Super") is directing this fun Sci-Fi, action - adventure.


"Guardians of the Galaxy"  opens on August 1, 2014.
