Riddick Rule The Dark ~ New Poster | A Constantly Racing Mind

Riddick - Fear the Dark | A Constantly Racing Mind

Above is the new poster of the Furyian, Riddick, with the movies tag line "Rule the Dark."

Here is a a new international Trailer to feast your eyes upon.

Here is the synopsis:
"The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy. Written by Universal Pictures"

Director David Twohy, responsible for directing 2000's "Pitch Black,"  and 2004's "The Chronicles of Riddick," and the 1996 Charlie Sheen film "The Arrival."  Which, I actually kind of liked.

David Twohy is also know for his script writing capabilities as well. In 1989 he penned the script for the Julian Sands and Lori Singer time traveling witch story, called "Warlock." In which Twohy has Sands rip a mans tongue out with his teeth and throw it onto a hot skillet. 1994 Twohy wrote the screen play for the Charlie Sheen and Nastassja Kinski film "Terminal Velocity." Twohy was on hand for adapting the Danielle Alexandra story into a script for the Demi Moore film, "G.I. Jane" in 1997. It was in 2000 when Twohy worked with the Wheat brothers and came up with the script for the Sci-Fi cult flick, "Pitch Black," which unleashed Riddick the Furyian to all the known worlds. In 2004, Twohy wrote and directed the epic "The Chronicles of Riddick" which introduced Karl Urban to the "Riddick" Underverse as Lord Vaako.
