Insidious Chapter 2 ~ First Look | A Constantly Racing Mind

Insidious Chapter 2 Banner | A Constantly Racing Mind

It is time to return to The Further. For those of you who remember the first installment of this dark tale of possession, Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson) went into The Further to retrieve the soul of his comatose son. Upon returning to the world, something went very wrong, and in the final seconds of the film we find out.

Also returning from "Insidious" is Rose Byrne ("Sunshine") to reprise her role as Renai Lambert, wife to Josh (Patrick Wilson) and mother to Dalton, played by Ty Simpkins ("Iron Man 3"), and young Foster (Andrew Astor). Also returning for the second chapter is horror alum Barbara Hershey ("The Entity") comes back as Josh's mother, Lorraine.

Back are Lin Shaye and Leigh Whannell as Elise Rainier and Specs respectively a part of the intrepid ghost busting team from "Insidious," (I guess, Chapter 1). Scriptwriter and actor,  Leigh Whannell,  provides the viewer with a second chapter into the Lambert's family trouble with bothersome demons.
